He does not seem to like it. But it is very pretty and much bigger than his old tank. He was a 15 cent feeder fish when I got him five years ago. His first activity when I brought him home was to kill and eat his tankmate. He will be an only fish for a while but I am thinking of introducing another small, non competing fish and some kind of sanctuary that this big one can not fit his fat fishy bum into.

A few months ago Frisco was diagnosed with CRF (kidney failure) and while some pets live for years with the condition, last week the vet said his bloodwork is so poor that it is off the charts. The second photo shows what happens when we give him his daily IV fluids. He gets the big hump every time, and sometimes he gets wet where a little saline leaks out after the injection like you can see here.
